E-Dialog Acquired For $157 Million

Lexington, MA-based e-mail marketing solutions provider e-Dialog has reached an agreement to be acquired by e-commerce company GSI Commerce of King of Prussia, PA. The $157 million deal includes $147.8 million in cash and $9.2 million in restricted GSI Commerce shares. E-Dialog, founded in 1997, has taken in some $20 million in venture funding from companies that include Flagship Ventures and Commonwealth Capital Ventures.
