Great Things Come In Small Packages—A Nanotech Story

Barbara Heffner of Chen PR, writing to Xconomy on behalf of the MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge, says:

“The next MIT Enterprise Forum event is focused on nanotech and will be held this Weds. April 9th, starting at 6:15 p.m. The keynoter is Josh Wolfe, who is “America’s Leading Authority on Nanotechnology,” according to Forbes, for which he writes a nanotech newsletter. He’s also managing partner of Lux Capital, a VC firm, and lectures around the world.

Following Wolfe’s presentation, Seth Coe-Sullivan, CTO at QD Vision, will present a case study on his company, an early stage nanotech venture that manufactures quantum-dot products.

After the QD Vision presentation, an expert panel will critique the company’s strategy. That expert panel includes Jed Dorsheimer, principal and senior equity analyst, Canaccord Adams; Jack Derby, founder of Derby Management; and Jake M. Reder, Ph.D., director of the Office of New Ventures, Dartmouth Medical School. The moderator is Roger E. Bohn, MIT Sloan School of Management, visiting professor.”
