Boston Biotech R&D Conference

This one-day conference focuses on up-and-coming biotech companies in the Boston area. The conference announcement promises “Senior executives from companies include AVEO Pharmaceuticals, Constellation Pharmaceuticals, Dicerna Pharmaceuticals, Genocea Biosciences, Hydra Biosciences, Magen BioSciences, Pervasis Therapeutics, Sirtris Pharmaceuticals, TheraGenetics, Trubion Pharmaceuticals and Vertex Pharmaceuticals are among the scheduled speakers for the conference.”

The organizers of the conference are Sirtis CEO Christoph Westphal and Michelle Dipp, Senior Director of Corporate Development. Xconomy reported extensively about GlaxoSmithKline’s acquisition of Sirtis and talked with Dipp about its impact on their local presence.
