The Washington Biotechnology & Biomedical Association is hosting an event at the Microsoft campus on Wednesday, November 12th, to learn more about Microsoft’s vision for life sciences, and its potential implications for the clinical trial process of the future.
Attendees of “Information Technology and the Future of Clinical Trials” will also hear from Bob Webber, CEO of WBBA member TranSenda, who will discuss how the latest information technologies could dramatically change the way clinical trials are managed.
Afterwards, a panel of local life sciences executives – including Lee Hooks, CEO of Axio, and Dr. Nora Disis, Professor, Medicine/Oncology/Tumor Vaccine Group, Center for Translational Medicine in Women’s Health at the University of Washington- will provide their views on the current state of the clinical trial, and share their visions.
