The Zino Society, a group that connects angel investors with entrepreneurs, is hosting “Zino Life: Life Sciences Investment Forum” on February 24 in partnership with the Washington Biotechnology & Biomedical Association. Bruce Montgomery, the senior vice president of respiratory therapeutics for Gilead Sciences, will give a keynote address. Twelve companies will make presentations, and the best opportunity will be awarded a $50,000 award in early 2009. Companies that would like to be considered should submit an online application to Zino Society and pay a $150 application fee. The application deadline is at 5 pm Jan. 13.
