Omni and Enztec Join, Raise $4.8M

Medical device makers Omni Life Science of Raynham, MA, and Enztec of Christchurch, New Zealand, announced that they have reorganized to become wholly owed subsidiaries of a new holding company called Orthopaedic Synergy, based in Raynham. The new firm also raised $4.8 million of a Series A financing from Pioneer Capital Partners of Auckland, New Zealand, and its limited partners. Birnie Capital Partners, also of Auckland, is aiming to top the round off to $6 million in March.
