CMC Icos Cuts 7.5% of Workforce

CMC Icos Biologics, a contract manufacturer of biotech drugs in Bothell, WA, has cut 11 jobs, or about 7.5 percent of its workforce, a company spokesman confirmed. CMC Icos will now have about 130 employees. It’s the second recent sign of hunkering down at CMC Icos: last month it said it is postponing plans to double its manufacturing capacity, because of the recession.
