greenBytes, an Ashaway, RI-based provider of efficient data storage systems, has secured $7.5 million of an $8 million round of equity financing, according to an SEC filing. The SEC record does not list investors in the round, but it names Sunil Dhaliwal, general partner of Battery Ventures in Waltham, MA, among its directors. The filing does not list any other venture capitalists as directors of greenBytes.
