Marathon Technologies, a Littleton, MA-based provider of disaster recovery software for physical and virtual servers, has raised a $7 million round of equity financing, according to an SEC filing. A company spokesman confirmed the information in the filing, and said the company would disclose more details in the next week or so. The filing does not specify who invested in the round, but the firm’s board of directors includes Axel Bichara of Atlas Venture in Waltham, MA, Paul Margolis, a partner at Waltham venture firm Longworth Venture Partners, and Steven Williams, managing director of Sierra Ventures in Menlo Park, CA.
