Seattle’s stem cell community will gather Jan. 8 for a series of talks on current issues pertaining to stem cells and translation to the clinic. Phillipe Menasche, a professor of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery at Université de Paris Déscartes, will be the keynote speaker. Speakers from the UW and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center include Rainer Storb, Thalia Papayannopoulou, Akiko Shimamura, Chuck Murry, Tom Reh, Phil Horner, and others.
