—DNS service provider Dyn of Manchester, NH, acquired San Francisco-based rival EveryDNS for an undisclosed sum.

—Portsmouth, NH-based medical device maker Salient Surgical Technologies raised $15 million in equity-based financing, according to an SEC filing. Salient’s devices use radio-frequency energy and saline solution to stop bleeding and seal wounds.

—Online backup service provider Carbonite of Boston raised $20 million in a mezzanine financing round. . New investor Crosslink Capital of San Francisco led the round, which was joined all of the company’s prior investors.

—Flexible photovoltaics maker Konarka Technologies of Lowell, MA, raised $23.8 million in an offering of equity and warrants, according to a regulatory filing.

—Providence, RI-based software maker Dynadec raised $2.1 million of a planned $2.4 million round of financing, according to SEC filings. Dynadec’s technology, developed by Brown University computer scientist Pascal Van Hentenryck, is designed to help companies solve complex optimization problems.

—Harvest Automation, a developer of agricultural robots in Groton, MA, said in a regulatory filing that it has raised $3 million out of an intended $5.75 million funding round. The cash reportedly came from Amsterdam-based Life Sciences Partners, Indiana-based Midpoint Food & AG Fund,and Dina Routhier, a principal at the Massachusetts Technology Development Corporation.
