Company Description Viryd Technologies (Viryd) was founded in 2007 to develop and commercialize NuVinci Continuously Variable Planetary (CVP) transmission technology for the wind industry. NuVinci CVP technology was invented by Fallbrook Technologies Inc. (Fallbrook) and enables a new class of continuously variable transmission (CVT). Traction-based, NuVinci transmissions are ideally suited for applications in virtually any mechanical device that has a transmission, or which requires speed variation.
