Monster Cuts 200 Workers

Monster Worldwide (NASDAQ:[[ticker:MWW]]), an online employment services company, is laying off 200 workers around the globe, including nearly 100 jobs between its Maynard, MA, headquarters and Cambridge, MA, offices, company spokesman Matthew Henson confirmed today. Henson said that the layoffs are part of a restructuring plan that has taken place for the past two years. The company, which operates the world’s largest online employment website, Monster.com, employs 5,600 people worldwide. These job cuts will be reflected in our Boston Tech Layoff Tracker.
