Mobile Madness Innovation Showcase

Cambridge, MA
Founded: 2009

Appswell is a mobile crowdsourcing platform that allows users to submit, share, and vote on ideas in a simple engaging way, allowing the best ideas to rise to the top. We’re using this to power competition driven conversations about products, within companies, and about brands.

Our initial consumer App, also called Appswell, is “An American Idol for iPhone Apps”; a reoccurring contest that allows users to submit their own ideas for iPhone apps, and allows the crowd to vote for a winner, which we develop. We’ve also launched our first B2B app in partnership with global innovation management leader BrightIdea.
