Nearly 75% of restaurant patrons identify wait times the most stressful part of dining out. However, the problem isn’t the time spent waiting – it’s that they are forced to wait at the restaurant, with nothing to do. Textaurant solves this problem by managing waiting lists for busy restaurants. Our web-based product allows hosts to manage the wait flow on any computer, and automatically contacts patrons via text message or phone when their table is almost ready. Patrons are no longer forced to wait in a crowded waiting area and can spend their time as they wish, and restaurants lose fewer patrons because of long waits, increasing overall revenue. To complete the loop, restaurants can send post-visit offers to interested patrons, creating an incentive for them to return.
