CombiMatrix (NASDAQ: [[ticker:CBMX]]), the Mukilteo, WA-based maker of genetic analysis and diagnostic tools, said today that two members of its board have resigned. Chairman Tom Akin, a large shareholder in the company, is stepping down from the board, along with Brooke Anderson, who is also resigning his full-time role as chief operating officer as the company is closing its Mukilteo facility and consolidating in Irvine, CA. Mark McGowan has been named the new chairman of the CombiMatrix board.
