Webfilings, which has offices in Los Altos, CA, and Ames, IA, has collected $5.1 in equity-based funding in a round that could total as much as $12.5 million, according to a regulatory filing with the SEC. Some 33 investors participated in the round; their identities have not been disclosed. The company, whose software helps businesses manage regulatory filings with the SEC, did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the funding.
