Wilson Taps New CEO, Changes Name

Wilson Solarpower, a Woburn, MA-based developer of concentrated solar power systems, has named Doug Zingale as it new chief executive, according to the company. Zingale, an attorney by training who also went to MIT, did a stint at Microsoft as a general manager from January 2008 to September 2009, according to his LinkedIn profile. Wilson’s former CEO, Bruce Anderson, will stay on at the firm as president and chairman. At the same time, the company’s announcing that it has changed its name from Wilson TurboPower to Wilson Solarpower because of its focus on developing solar technology.
