MedNetworks Partners With Healthways

Newton, MA-based MedNetworks, a provider of social network analytics software for the healthcare sector, has partnered with Tennessee-based Healthways, a maker of personalized health management programs. Healthways will use the MedNetworks technology, which was developed by Harvard professor and social scientist Nicholas Christakis, for population health management and tracking how individuals influence each other’s health decisions. Earlier this month, MedNetworks raised $5 million in a Series A round from Excel Venture Management.
