Emerging Issues in K-12 STEM Education

The Institute for Systems Biology and the Technology Alliance are co-presenting a Town Hall event focused on the state of K-12 STEM education in Washington. ISB president Leroy Hood, UW computer science professor Ed Lazowska, and Google site director Scott Silver will be part of a panel conversation with Mary Alice Huechsel, the superintendent of the Renton School District, and George “Pinky” Nelson, a professor of Science Mathematics & Technology Education (SMATE) at Western Washington University.
