Have a Beer With Carl Weissman and Me Monday at Xconomy Meetup

We spend a lot of time breaking stories and thinking about big events here at Xconomy, but sometimes we like to kick back at a local watering hole to just chat informally with readers. So we’re carving out time to do this, starting Monday, for the first of what we expect will be a series of free and open events called “Xconomy Meetup.”

Once a month or so, Thea and I will invite a special guest from the local tech or biotech community to meet at a free and open venue, and get a beer, coffee, or maybe even tea. The first one of these events will be from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm on Monday at the Streamline Tavern in Lower Queen Anne. Carl Weissman, the CEO of Accelerator and a managing director at OVP Venture Partners, will be the special guest. Xconomy readers are welcome to come chat about what’s happening in the local innovation scene. See you Monday.
