2. Beautiful Panoramas — Elastic Image Software, $1.99 — Lots of photographers with special rigs are out capturing great high-resolution interactive panoramic tours these days, and the iPad’s multi-touch screen makes it fun and easy to explore them. Although this app only includes 16 panoramas, from places like San Francisco’s Golden Gate and Nevada’s Burning Man festival, they’re well chosen and expertly shot by panoramic photographer Will Pearson.
