Entrepreneurs’ Pre-Thanksgiving Pizza Lunch is Back This Friday: Special Guests Project 11

Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and once again we’ve decided to celebrate it Xconomy-style—with some pizza!

Last year, on the day before Thanksgiving, we kicked off a new holiday tradition over here at Xconomy: the entrepreneurs’ pre-turkey day pizza lunch. That led to making impromptu pizza parties a year-round occurrence, and even morphed into our summer H-O-R-S-E tournament for entrepreneurs and other innovators.

So we’re back again this year, a bit earlier than our inaugural pre-Thanksgiving pizza bash—but beautifully timed to coincide with National Entrepreneurship Week (of course, every week is entrepreneurship week here at Xconomy)—and we’ve got a few special guests to boot. This year’s party will take place this Friday, November, 19, from 12 pm – 2pm here at our offices. On hand will be the founding members of Project 11, Xconomist Reed Sturtevant and Katie Rae.

We’re inviting all those in the innovation community—whether at startups or giants like Microsoft or Biogen Idec—who are in Cambridge around noon Friday (that’s November 19) to swing by our office for some free pizza (courtesy of our friends at Za), soda, and informal conversation (maybe even gossip). You can hobnob with our editors and each other, and of course with Katie and Reed. Their motto: “We invest in and assist early stage companies.”

Xconomy is at 101 Rogers Street, Suite 402. We’re in the historic Old Foundry Works building, tastefully situated between Third Street and Fourth Streets, about three blocks north of the Kendall Square T Stop. (Here’s a map.) When you get to the building, give us a buzz on the intercom, proceed to the elevator in the middle of the building, and head on up to the 4th floor.

If you think you can come, just drop us a line at [email protected], or leave a comment below, so we can know how many pizzas to ask the folks at Za to bring over.
