NaviNet Buys Prematics

Cambridge, MA-based NaviNet, which says it has the country’s largest real-time healthcare communications network, said today that it has acquired Prematics of McLean, VA. “Prematics’ mobile clinical messaging and e-prescribing solutions will be integrated with NaviNet Insurer Connect, the industry-leading multi-payer portal, and NaviNet EMR and NaviNet PM,” the buyer said in a press release. NaviNet did not reveal financial details of the transaction in its press release about the deal. In August 2009, NaviNet CEO Brad Waugh explained to me how his firm built America’s largest healthcare communications networks.
