Simms named Ann Arbor SPARK CEO

Ann Arbor SPARK, a Michigan regional business incubator, has appointed Skip Simms interim president and CEO, replacing Michael Finney, who was named today as the new director of the Michigan Economic Development Corp. by Governor-elect Rick Snyder. Simms previously served as Ann Arbor Spark’s vice president for entrepreneur business development as well as manager of the Michigan Pre-Seed Capital Fund and the Michigan Microloan Fund Program. SPARK is conducting a national search for president and CEO and says it expects an announcement before April 1.
