Ann Arbor Mulls Tax Breaks For Sakti3

The city council in Ann Arbor, MI will hold a public hearing in early April on a plan that would establish an industrial development district (IDD) on land being developed by Sakti3, according to the Ann Arbor Chronicle. The advanced battery startup, a spinoff from the University of Michigan, is reportedly considering an investment of $2.4 million in new equipment and hopes to hire five additional people. An IDD would provide tax breaks to Sakti3.
