NextView Ventures, a Cambridge, MA-based micro VC firm launched last summer, has brought in $8.1 million of a $25 million fundraise, an SEC filing shows. Earlier this year, Greg caught up with NextView partner David Beisel (formerly vice president at Venrock), who discussed the fledgling firm’s crop of advisors, and the group of startups it has invested in, including Swipely, Shareaholic, thredUP, and RentJuice. NextView’s other two co-founders are former Spark Capital principal Rob Go, and Lee Hower, who previously worked at Point Judith Capital.
