Renewable Energy and the Greening of the U.S. Navy—and the Ports of San Diego, Long Beach, and Los Angeles

The U.S. Navy has established ambitious goals to reduce fossil fuel usage and invest in alternative energy research and projects so that by 2020 half of all the energy used—both afloat and ashore—is supposed to come from alternative sources.
