New York and San Francisco Firms Top List of Webby Winners

has a strong digital media arm, which picked up awards in four categories, including Best Science Web Site (Discovery News) and Best Entertainment App for MythBusters.

Goodby, Silverstein & Partners (San Francisco): This ad agency won four Webbys including one for Yahoo! Bus Stop Derby, a series of touch screens installed at bus stops around San Francisco, where commuters could participate in multiplayer games during their commutes.

The Webby Awards are presented by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences and include more than 70 categories. Winners will be honored during a ceremony June 13 in New York, which will be streamed live on the Internet, in HD, by Major League Baseball’s MLB Advanced Media (MLBAM).
