Coursekit Draws $1 Million Seed Round

New York education-software startup Coursekit has raised $1 million in seed funding from Founder Collective, IA Ventures, Shasta Ventures, and a number of individuals, according to the company blog. Coursekit plans to roll out a set of tools for educators this fall that are designed to help them manage gradebooks, calendaring, videos, files, and interactive elements.
