Measured Voice has organized 1.USA.gov Hack Day in San Diego as part of its work with USA.gov, the official portal of the U.S. government. Similar events are taking place in San Francisco and Washington D.C. to encourage programmers, entrepreneurs, and curious citizens to come together and explore data created by 1.USA.gov and to find new ways to use it. Attendees will get to work with a rich set of open government data and come up with ideas for applications that can help people get the government information they need most.
