PTC (NASDAQ: [[ticker:PMTC]]), the Needham, MA-based product development software maker, said today that it has acquired East Moline, IL-based 4CS, a maker of software for warranty and service management. The financial terms of the deal were not announced. PTC said the 4CS technology will work with its existing product lines that enable manufacturers to keep track of their service procedures, parts lists, and training materials. Earlier this year PTC acquired MKS, a maker of technology for tracking the lifecycle and production of software focused products. PTC said it expects the 4CS deal to be neutral to its GAAP and non-GAAP financial results in fiscal years 2011 and 2012.
