Program
On March 11, 2011, Japan’s nuclear facility in Fukushima was devastated by an earthquake and tsunami. While Japan is still recovering, the effects of this natural disaster have been felt everywhere. Europe has reacted strongly, with Germany and other EU countries moving to phase out nuclear power production. European energy policy is in great flux, creating opportunities and challenges for the alternative energy industries.

This program will present a real time discussion by members of Latham’s Cleantech Industry Group about of some of the critical questions that our clients are now asking in the aftermath of Fukushima, such as:

What are the Cleantech opportunities in a post-Fukushima Europe?

What challenges do Cleantech companies face in a post-FukushimaEurope?

How will policy changes affect the solar, wind, and alternative energy industries in Europe?

What is the current market situation in Europe given the nuclear power phase out?
