In conjunction with the 3rd annual Maritime Business & Technology Summit, the annual showcase of innovation in maritime technology dedicated to promoting maritime business and technologies, San Diego’s Maritime Alliance has organized a gala dinner and awards ceremony. Oceanographer Sylvia Earle will be the guest speaker for the evening. She is the former chief scientist at NOAA, explorer-in-residence at the National Geographic Society, winner of the 2009 TED Prize, and recognized by the Library of Congress as a “Living Legend.” More information and online registration is here.
