Go Try It On — CEO and founder Marissa Evans (HBS ’08) says, “HBS helped me to be able to understand the different components that go into starting a company.” But most of her classmates were more likely to go to hedge funds and consulting firms. Go Try It On, launched in 2010, offers a platform for women to share outfit choices and get a second opinion. Evans, who started a T-shirt company in college, worked for the marketing agency Digitas after business school but quickly decided to “get back into the startup culture.” Go Try It On is backed by Index Ventures, SPA Investments, and others.
