Two affiliated San Diego organizations, the Maritime Alliance and the Security Network, are hosting their first joint conference, The Security Technology Summit, within the week-long HALO Counter-Terrorism Summit. It is intended to serve as a regional mini-conference and technology exposition embedded in the world’s premier counter-terrorism training and networking event, which is being held from Oct. 29 through Nov. 2. The co-located “Black Hat” briefing track will focus on cyber security for this same community and attract another key segment of security technologists and practitioners.
