In the weeks since President Obama unveiled his plan to map the brain through a billion-dollar iniative over the next decade, Connect has helped organize a panel discussion that includes two scientists—UCSD’s Ralph Greenspan and Terrence Sejnowski of the Salk Institute—who have been involved in formulating the initiative. Joining the discussion about the Brain Research through Advancing Innovative Neurotechnologies (BRAIN) initiative, will be Qualcomm Senior Director Anthony Lewis and Todd Hylton, senior vice president of the Qualcomm-backed Brain Corp.
