EdTech, as this industry is known in tech circles, is one of the largest growing startup sectors, as it gets increasing attention from investors. The evening will feature a panel of entrepreneurs who have worked at, invested in and built companies in the EdTech industry, and they will dicuss the latest trends and share their unique experiences in a facilitated conversation.

Her leadership experience spans more than 20 years, during which she founded and led several private and public sector organizations. Her newest company, Pathbrite delivers next-generation solutions that help students – and learners of all ages – collect, track and showcase a lifetime of achievement, and recommend pathways for continuous success.
Adam Geller

After leaving the classroom, Adam joined the national strategy team of Teach For America where he designed technology impacting teachers across the country. Named to Forbes 30u30 and a recent Education Ventures fellow at the Kauffman Foundation, Adam is also the founder of Teach For Us.
Dedra Chamberlin
Co-founder, Cirrus Identity, Inc.
Dedra has been leading IT strategy and service delivery in higher education for 15 years, and currently focuses on Identity and Access Management services (IAM). She serves as Deputy Director, Identity and Access Management at UC Berkeley, and chairs the UC-wide UC Trust workgroup. Dedra recently co-founded a start up, Cirrus identity, whose initial product offering is an authentication gateway service that allows people from outside universities, such as parents, alumni, research collaborators, etc, to log in to university systems using a Social Identity Provider like Google, LinkedIn, Yahoo, etc.
