Stephen Wolfram to Speak @ D2: Future of Data and Devices on Nov. 21

An amazing lineup just got even more amazing. Stephen Wolfram has been added to the marquee speaker list for D2: The Future of Data and Devices, Xconomy’s half-day forum set for the afternoon of November 21.

Tickets have been going fast, but you definitely can still register here. The Saver rate ends on Thursday, so get your tickets now to save $75. (We have special rates for students and those at startups.)

The legendary computer scientist, founder and CEO of Wolfram Research, from whence sprang Mathematica and the Wolfram Alpha search engine, is one of the world’s foremost authorities on our broad topic of data and devices (think big data meets the Internet of Things). He will undoubtedly provide a unique view on what lies ahead.

Wolfram, though, is just one of the great speakers we have on tap. Media Lab professor Sandy Pentland will team up with R.R. Donnelley CEO Tom Quinlan for a closing chat about what’s ahead for content and connectivity, and more. Other big names include Wayne Chang of Crashlytics and Twitter fame, Techstars Boston’s Katie Rae, SolidWorks founder Jon Hirschtick, Actifio CEO Ash Ashutosh…the list goes on.

We have an array of great speakers, from entrepreneurs to leading investors. The event goes down at the Fidelity Center for Applied Technology in Boston, right next to South Station (making for an easy on-off).

You can find the full lineup and register here. Remember, the Saver rate ends Thursday. So act fast.
