Slideshow: Big Insight—Making Sense of Big Data in Seattle

There are a wide range of people and companies working on many aspects of the big data challenge in Seattle and we heard from many of them at a packed event Tuesday.

Thanks to all of our speakers, attendees, and sponsors for helping make Big Insight—Making Sense of Big Data in Seattle a successful event.

We tried to dispatch with hype around the term big data, and get down to what everyone’s really after: managing our data abundance to get to new discoveries, businesses, and insights.

Speakers covered everything from advanced sensor networks, to the data engines underlying major consumer-facing services like Zillow, to the future of data-centric science and artificial intelligence.
