O+ Festival Director Joins Our Dec. 12 Healthcare Gets Personal Event

Xconomy Xchange: Healthcare Gets Personal

A great lineup has gotten even stronger—and more inspiring. We are pleased that Joe Concra, executive director of the O+ Festival, has joined the speaker lineup at our Healthcare Gets Personal event next month.

Concra joins our keynoter, Harvard personal genomics pioneer George Church, Polaris Partners and Living Proof co-founder Jon Flint, Anita Goel, CEO of XChallenge winner Nanobiosym (for its personalized diagnostic testing device), and a host of other innovators tackling everything from stress to games for mental health to personalized medicine. It all takes place from 4-6pm on the afternoon of Thursday, Dec. 12, at Google’s Kendall Square digs in Cambridge, MA.

You can see more about the full lineup and register here. Act fast, as the early bird rate expires today.

If you haven’t heard of it, the O+ Festival, in its own words, is “a three-day, community-run celebration of music and the arts. O+ participating artists barter their contributions in exchange for health care services from art-loving doctors, dentists, and other wellness providers at the O+ Clinic.” The festival just expanded from New York to San Francisco—and it speaks at a true grass roots level to our Healthcare Gets Personal theme.

That’s just a taste of the innovation in store for the event. The full lineup of speakers includes:

George Church, Professor of Genetics, Harvard Medical School
