A Milwaukee chapter of Girl Develop It is being launched with a free networking event. Girl Develop It is a global nonprofit that aims to “make software development accessible and affordable to all women with little to no development or training experience.”
Girl Develop It Milwaukee intends to host coding hangouts and classes on computer and Web programming basics, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Android, and others. The event organizers invite those interested in taking the classes, teaching them, or just supporting the group.
