StartOut, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to creating great business leaders by fostering Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) entrepreneurs, offers an evening startup pitch event. From the event site:
“Join StartOut for our first San Francisco event of 2014 at Swig, one of the City’s quintessential modern classic bars. Set on two levels, the spacious interior at Swig is tastefully designed and the mood is that of unpretentious, laid-back sophistication.
StartOut will also showcase local entrepreneurs to pitch their startup ideas to the audience with a solid ask (anything besides funding – sorry). Few spots are available, so to be considered, please send a brief description and pitch deck (no more than 4 slides).
Whether you’re an LGBT (or ally) founder, entrepreneur, investor, service provider, start-up employee (or wannabe!) or maybe you have a great idea for a business and just haven’t made the leap quite yet….StartOut is for you!”
