WIN-Milwaukee Luncheon: Innovations in Aviation

From the event organizer:

“Learn how ideas revolving around Milwaukee’s General Mitchell International Airport could create a commercial and transportation hub for Wisconsin’s growing aerospace industry at the March 13 luncheon meeting of the Wisconsin Innovation Network in Wauwatosa.

Panelists include Tom Rave, executive director of Aerotropolis Milwaukee, an economic development project of Gateway to Milwaukee; and Dennis Webb, president and chief executive officer of Deltahawk Engines Inc., a Racine-based lightweight turbo-diesel engine manufacturer for aviation and non-aviation uses.

Aerotropolis Milwaukee is a public-private partnership that fosters economic collaboration around the air, rail, road and shipping assets tied to Mitchell International. Its goals include attracting and retaining jobs within the Aerotropolis footprint, marketing the region and its logistics capabilities nationally and abroad, and helping businesses in the region create more value for themselves and their customers. Deltahawk is developing a family of engines that function in a variety of transportation spaces. It holds five patents and has customers worldwide.”
