The Voting Information Project (VIP) invites you to join us for a two-day hackathon and help us discover new was to connect voters with the essential information they need to cast their ballot during primary and general elections.
All developers, designers, creators and innovators are welcome! You’ll have a chance to work with the Google Civic Information API and will have access to historical primary data of all 50 states and Washington, D.C. in order to create a new user experience for voters.
Also, all VIP Hackathon participants receive $500 of Google Cloud Platform credit to help build a web or mobile app.
We want to find the best web or mobile application that makes civic data more accessible and usable for eligible voters, as well as state and local elections officials. Our judges will award the winning application a prize.
