The symposium is “a signature networking event for UW researchers, students and industry that will showcase exciting R&D—from new antibiotics and solar cells to award-winning undergraduate research focused on the recovery of waterlogged lumber.”
Speakers include Quentin Schultz, president of River Falls-based Eurofins BioDiagnostics; Christal Sheppard, director of the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office’s Detroit branch; and student entrepreneur Eric Wenz, who will discuss his biodegradable soap startup, SoPOD.
