Madison RailsBridge: Outreach to Women

From the event organizer:

“RailsBridge is an organization created to increase diversity in the Ruby on Rails community, in particular, among female developers. Students at the workshops range from those who are completely new to programming to professional developers who want to learn Rails. Attendees are divided into groups based on experience in order to achieve maximum productivity. The two-day workshops consist of a one-day Installfest (students’ laptops are set up with the requisite software) and one day of extensive programming, working toward building a usable web application.”

Child care is available upon request. The event is free.
