Agenda Posted For Napa Summit: Request Invite to Star-Studded Event

Napa Summit 2016

It’s four weeks until Napa Summit 2016: The Xconomy Retreat on the Economy, Jobs, and Growth. We have now posted the agenda, and we’d love to see you there. So request your invitation today to Xconomy’s most prestigious event.

The dates are May 16 and 17, starting with a wine reception and dinner at Silver Oak Cellars the evening of the 16th.

This year marks the fifth time we have convened this uniquely interdisciplinary, invitation-only conference. In addition to incredible keynote speakers like John Maeda, Esther Dyson, Mary Lou Jepsen, and Danny Hillis, we will be featuring leading innovators and thinkers on gene editing, space, artificial intelligence and data, food technology, medicine and health, the future of China, and a lot more. You can check out the full agenda here.

This year might mark our most interactive summit as well. Even before the official beginning of the event at Silver Oak, we will be offering test rides in the Blade, a 3D printed car from Divergent 3D. Divergent founder and CEO Kevin Czinger, a former Webvan executive, will be conducting the rides.

We will be doing more rides on the 17th. We are also working on a virtual reality demonstration—part of our VR Deep Dive. And David Edwards, serial entrepreneur and Harvard Professor of the Practice of Idea Translation, will be demonstrating WikiFoods, which comes from his startup, Quantum Designs, which wraps a vast range of foods in edible packages that guard against contamination and water loss. It’s weird, but amazing—you can taste it for yourself.

It all concludes with another tasting, this time from reception sponsor Lagunitas Brewing Company.

Registration is $1,595, which includes the dinner at Silver Oak, and breakfast, lunch, and reception at the Villagio Inn and Spa—and we have discounts for startups and government/non-profits (lodging and travel are separate).

Again, you can find more the details here. We have limited space available for this invitation-only event—so request your invitation now by writing to [email protected].
