From the event organizer:
How Foundations Fund the Life Sciences in NJ
Join us at the CCIT Incubator, located at the Technology Centre of New Jersey, a 75 acre life sciences research park in the heart of NJ’s Research Corridor, for an insightful conversation about how life sciences companies are being funded by research foundations, the alternative to traditional financing models.
Featuring Dr. Todd Sherer, CEO of The Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF). Dr. Sherer directs the organization’s research strategy and is responsible for the organization’s overall scientific and fundraising direction to speed treatment and a cure for Parkinson’s disease. In 2015, MJFF funded $87.8 million in research programs.
