Rowheels raised a Series A funding round in late 2015, which according to an SEC filing currently stands at about $610,000, and is in the process of raising another round, he says. He declined to comment on the timeline for closing the latest financing, or say how much his company is seeking to raise.

Rowheels currently has 10 employees, with plans to hire an additional five to 10 workers by the end of the year, Buinevicius says.
